I hate the Internet. There I admitted it. The tool I use most in my life, the 'thing' that I make my living working with is also the thing I hate more than anything in this world.
Here are the things that drive me Nucking Futs about about the Internet
1) Email Spam. Come one people who the hell really wants to buy your product? Do I really want a B4cht0rs D3gr33 from a school that can't spell it? My penis is fine thank you.
2) Forum Spam.. Who the hell thinks it is alright to post double penetration porno pics on a site dedicated to spirituality? Do you really think these people are interested in this crap.. No.. they aren't so get a clue morons. I'm tired of banning your accounts and deleting your messages. Sadly since the site I admin is a gratis work, I'm usually eating breakfast or dinner when I have to view this crap.. thanks for ruining my meal..
3) Rick Rolling... Yes, it was funny the first 700 times, it's just not funny anymore. It's sad when you are giving your wife sweet sweet loving while the 80's station is playing in the background and you break up laughing because the radio just rick rolled you. Try explaining that to your technophobe wife, why that song ruined your mood.
4) Forum trolls, Blog Trolls, Blog spammers... Yeah you know who you are, and this is exactly why I do not allow comments on my blog..
5) Blogs about blogs about blogs.. Yeah, come up with your own content.. But I will admit I am guilty of this.
6) LOLCatz.. Dumb.. can we haz a break now?
7) MMO (wow) Damn games are addicting, as if starcraft wasn't bad enough, now we have to play our addiction with other people..
8) MMO Trolls.. See #4
9) DDOS/Hackers Yes we know you are leet, and can take down any system you want, but to tell you the truth we just want to play our mmo's read our blogs and forums.. leave us civilians alone, and stop using our windows boxes to distribute our spam, you keep getting our IPs blocked. (I use linux, so this doesn't really bother me.)
10) Top 10 lists.. They've all been done before, including this one..
Well That's my rant for today.. I want to close this blog entry with one final statement.. I miss the old BBS days.. Bring back the Commodore64 please.
