This is my current go to game for a quick time waster. Rogue style deck building game, currently in early access, but worth the money even at this stage of its development.
During the big sales on Steam, I love going through the game queues and seeing if there is anything out there that I have not seen yet. The other day this game came across my path and I had to give it a try, the trailer video for it looked pretty cool and the idea of being stranded on an alien world sound like a fun and idea. So I bought it, installed it and then played it.. I got hooked. This is one of my longer videos, because honestly when I was going to quit playing I got caught up in it again and ended up playing even longer. I did edit it down a little to try to cut the time down, but over all, it is worth watching and the game is worth buying, even though it is in early access. I hope they add even more features to the game.
Here's the video, I hope you enjoy it.
I've been a debian based Linux user for years, probably close to 13 years now. So the idea of switching to another distro has never really crossed my mind. Especially since Linux Mint has been such a great distro for me over the past few years. About a two months ago I did a 'Lets Install' video for Antergos Linux, and I was impressed with it, so I decided that when I built out my new computer system I would give it a try as my main system.
Tomb Raider has finally made it to Linux. Released on April 27th 2016 for Linux on Steam, I just had to give it a try. The last time I played any Tomb Raider game was back in the 90s on the original play station. I loved the game back than. So I was excited to see it released on Linux. But this is not the old PS version of Tomb Raid, this is a re-vamp with amazing graphics and exciting game play.
I played this game for the first time this weekend, despite all the negative reviews, I still felt like I wanted to give it a try, after all you get to be a bear, how bad ass is that? I had visions of rummaging through campsites and stealing food, smacking salmon out of the river and mauling innocent hikers.. Well okay maybe not that.. maybe... ;)
So I gave it a try, the game wasn't too horrible, it's playable, but there are issues that make the game annoying. Eating a kill and having the body not change, or go away, only being able to attack a bee hive once.. and a few other things.. Anyways, check out the video to get an idea what the game play is like.
