This is my current go to game for a quick time waster. Rogue style deck building game, currently in early access, but worth the money even at this stage of its development.
You may be wondering why there hasn't been any new content lately. Well.. Just been a little bit uninspired. So I decided to take a hiatis. I do plan on coming back, sometime this summer. But until then, I am just being a regular user, watching some of my favorite youtubers, designing tee shirts, and playing games for fun, not for review. Once the urge to make videos comes back, and it will. I will start making content again. But for now, just taking a break.
During the big sales on Steam, I love going through the game queues and seeing if there is anything out there that I have not seen yet. The other day this game came across my path and I had to give it a try, the trailer video for it looked pretty cool and the idea of being stranded on an alien world sound like a fun and idea. So I bought it, installed it and then played it.. I got hooked. This is one of my longer videos, because honestly when I was going to quit playing I got caught up in it again and ended up playing even longer. I did edit it down a little to try to cut the time down, but over all, it is worth watching and the game is worth buying, even though it is in early access. I hope they add even more features to the game.
Here's the video, I hope you enjoy it.
I've been a debian based Linux user for years, probably close to 13 years now. So the idea of switching to another distro has never really crossed my mind. Especially since Linux Mint has been such a great distro for me over the past few years. About a two months ago I did a 'Lets Install' video for Antergos Linux, and I was impressed with it, so I decided that when I built out my new computer system I would give it a try as my main system.
This is a game I had been looking forward to its release, I first heard about it when the developers did an AMA here on reddit. I was really impressed with their humble attitude and excited when they shared demo footage of their latest soon to be release game.
Well here it is, Shadwen, a first person sneaker. I have to say, this game is pretty darn good, and it ads a few twists to the mechanics of the game that I was not expecting, and really enjoy, such as pausing time, and rewinding your game play..
Early access game Tacopocalypse. Fun and interesting stunt driving game. This is an early access game, and seems to need more polish in my opinion. Check it out. Let me know what you think.
In an attempt to keep my promise of doing more living streaming, I did one the other day. Sadly only one person watched :) But that is my fault, because I did not announce it. My goal is to do at least one live stream a week, and at first I probably wont make a big fanfare out of it, because I want to work the bugs out, but you are always welcomed to watch.
Tomb Raider has finally made it to Linux. Released on April 27th 2016 for Linux on Steam, I just had to give it a try. The last time I played any Tomb Raider game was back in the 90s on the original play station. I loved the game back than. So I was excited to see it released on Linux. But this is not the old PS version of Tomb Raid, this is a re-vamp with amazing graphics and exciting game play.
I took a chance on another early release and came up with a winner. Slime Rancher is a first person rancher, collect slime creatures, feed 'em harvest their poop and make money. Exploring an amazing world in the process.
Showtime 2073, is it PacMan for the modern age? What is this addicting game all about? Collect the dots, and shoot the bad guys with lasers and rockets. PacMan gone wild? This twitchy first person shooter blends old and new concepts together to come up with a game idea that is not only frustrating but quite addicting.
