Wayland.. Sooo close, but not yet
With the release of the NVIDIA 560.x drivers, with all the fixes in it for Wayland display server, I was excited to give it a try. Firstly, when it works, it is amazing, everything looks so sharp/crisp and no screen tearing at all. But I have 1 issue, and I have not found a problem. I noticed this issue in 555.x drivers. I get whole screen flicker, on both displays.
My early days with Linux and the Internet
I was just thinking about the early days of the Internet, when ISDN was too expensive, and DSL wasn't quite available yet.
New Video Release - Fedora 40 The Review
It has been really hard to get back into making YouTube videos, but I really wanted to give it another try. Last month I made a video reviewing a game created by Gardener Bryan (aka: The Linux Gamer) It got an okay amount of views, but nothing crazy like other youtubers get. But it was enough to make me feel inspired to make another video.
This time I reviewed Fedora Linux V40, I have been daily driving Fedora40 for about 6 months now, so I felt I could give an honest opinion about the release and make a video about it.
The Woes of Wayland or Back to X11 for me
This seems to happen to me every time I try to switch to Wayland as my window manager on Linux. I switch, and everything seems to be working find with a few minor issues that I can work out with alternative apps, or system tweaks. I start to get really comfortable with the whole ide, mainly because Wayland when it is working, is super fast a buttery smooth.
